Who We Are
We are faithful Seventh-day Adventists committed to living and sharing the good news of the everlasting gospel and the Three Angels’ Messages. We believe Seventh-day Adventists are prophetically called by God to carry heaven’s last warning message to the world before the second coming of Jesus Christ.
What We Believe About the Bible
The Holy Scriptures, Old and New Testaments, are the written Word of God, given by divine inspiration through holy men of God who spoke and wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. In this Word, God has committed to man the knowledge necessary for salvation. The Holy Scriptures are the infallible revelation of His will. They are the standard of character, the test of experience, the authoritative revealer of doctrines, and the trustworthy record of God’s acts in history. Every belief that we hold to be truth finds its foundation in the Word of God (2 Peter 1:20, 21; 2 Tim. 3:16, 17; Ps. 119:105; Prov. 30:5, 6; Isa. 8:20; John 17:17; 1 Thess. 2:13; Heb. 4:12.)
The Three Angels' Messages
Immediately following vital prophecies providing identifying characteristics of two persecuting beasts in Revelation 13 are the traits of God’s people living when Jesus returns as recorded in Revelation 14:1-5. The following three messages are so important they are borne by three angels. They contain keys that unlock the path of eternal life as well as warnings of how to avoid becoming ensnared by a counterfeit “christianity” designed and inspired by Satan. This false religion is in many cases so close to the truth that it can deceive the most diligent Bible student for decades. God’s foresaw the need to provide explicit direction for those living in our day.
- Revelation 14:6-7 “And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, 7Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.”
This message of the first angel begins with a promise indicating that the true gospel of the authentic Jesus including what He has done for us, will reach every single person on earth, no matter how restricted and oppressed their living situation is. This first message is for all to be certain to honor God through worship of Him who created the heavens, the earth, the sea, and fresh waters. The true God is defined by providing His name (God), His title of authority (Creator), and His territory (heavens, earth, and sea), all of which are present in the seventh-day Sabbath commandment (Exodus 20:8-11; Deuteronomy 5:12-15).
As God is the true Creator, He must be the judge over all things. Soon, a great test will be administered to every person on earth. Each individual will be provided an informed opportunity to choose for themselves whom they will serve. This choice will be between giving glory and honor on God’s designed rest day, the seventh-day, or, to go along with the vast majority who choose to join the world by honoring an artifact of pagan worship, the day of the sun.
Sunday has already become enshrined by many churches and there are growing societal pressures to legislate Sunday as a national day of rest, to compensate workers of so-called essential services at “overtime” rates, and to limit what individuals can do on their own property. Make no mistake, God is “jealous” over His creation. He does not coerce or force respect of His law, but the consequences of the judgment are devasting.
- Revelation 14:8 “And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.”
The second angels’ message proclaims the fall of Babylon, a symbol of confusion. Babylon has always represented Satan’s counterfeit to God’s ultimate promise for His people of everlasting peace in the heavenly city known as the New Jerusalem. Babylon has a striking characteristic that reveals the identity of all who subscribe to its ideology; she makes all nations drunk, and engages illicit relationships with the nations of earth. History reveals only one power that claimed authority over all sovereign nations, the Roman Catholic Church (RCC). By claiming authority to enforce Sunday rest as directed by the Third Council of Orleans in AD 538, the RCC directly, and through its proxies (the nations) oppressed, persecuted, and martyred countless millions until Pope Pius VI was taken captive by Napolean’s forces in 1798. For this primary reason, the United States was formed by its founders seeking to avoid the state meddling with religious convictions and compelling people to act against their consciences. Never was the United States to legislate any activity contrary to God’s word.
The Bible prophesies that a new coalition power will adopt the same persecutory habits once used by the RCC. This power will believe it is doing God service by compelling people to rest on Sunday, but the Bible is very clear that this will bring about the judgments of God as His true followers strive to give God glory by honoring the biblical seventh day rest. When that occurs, God will give a loud cry to “come out of her my people” (Revelation 18:2-5). Strict obedience has always been required and honored by God.
- Revelation 14:9-13 “And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: 11And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. 12Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. 13And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
The third angels’ message gives an urgent, final warning to the world explicitly spelling out the great test for the people of God. The test is about worship, really the acknowledgment of Jesus as our Creator and Redeemer. The mark of the beast and his image must be avoided at any personal cost. This mark is received in the forehead of all who truly believe that the church should dictate its religious dogma to be enforced by civil legislation and authority, especially Sunday rest. This ideology was shared by all who believed in coercive measures during the recent pandemic. Receiving the mark on the hand reveals the mindset of all who realize that oppressing the consciences of individuals is absolutely contrary to all Biblical teaching but are unwilling to bear the personal cost of standing for truth. In order to avoid the charge of being civilly disobedient, to avoid being cancelled by family and friends, to continue to be able to buy and sell, including for lifesaving measures, these will knowingly make a conscious choice to disobey God’s command to work on the first day and rest on the seventh day.
The judgment of God is plainly revealed here. Those who accept the mark of the beast (RCC) or his image (U.S. empowered apostate Protestantism) will suffer the consequences of their choice spelled out in exacting detail. God is deliberately making our choice so plain that even a young child will see the difference between right and wrong. Why must humanity go through this test? Simply so sin can be finally and forever eradicated from the universe. Sin will never again arise.
The three angels’ messages close with good news. The saints are identified readily through two qualifications. They “keep the commandments of God” and have been given “the faith of Jesus.” In other words, the saints will choose to keep all of God’s commandments. And their determination to follow Jesus even up to the cost of life itself is rewarded with Jesus supplying His faith to His saints! He goes on to announce a special blessing for those saints who die before He returns. That blessing includes Paul’s encouraging message in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18:
- “But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”
Friend, Jesus has paved the way of righteousness for you. He has provided waymarks to guide you into His eternal kingdom. He desires your presence for eternity and invites you to a life of everlasting joy.
